Role Overview

This role involves the design and analysis of technical systems to ensure they align with business requirements, architecture standards, and performance constraints. The IT Systems Analyst acts as a technical bridge, translating conceptual needs into detailed specifications and models for implementation. Working across both predictive and agile lifecycles, you will collaborate with Product Owners and delivery teams to refine backlogs, define functional/non-functional requirements, and support large scale deployments.


Mandatory Requirement

Security Clearance: Applicants must hold a current active AGSVA Baseline, NV1, or NV2 security clearance. Applications without this clearance will not be considered.


Core Responsibilities

  • System Design & Analysis: Map workflows and business processes to identify technical enhancements and design software/platform solutions.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Translate business needs into technical specifications for developers and IT teams.
  • Testing & Maintenance: Conduct system testing, perform root cause analysis for technical issues, and ensure systems meet performance standards.
  • Documentation & Training: Maintain system documentation and provide user training/manuals for new systems.
  • Project Delivery: Participate in change management and collaborate with architects to ensure solutions are feasible and high quality.

Requirements and Experience

We are seeking candidates at various career stages (Junior, Mid, and Senior/Lead). Please indicate your level of experience across the following criteria:

  • Professional Experience: Opportunities are available for candidates with 1 to 10+ years of hands-on experience in technical solution analysis.
  • Technical Proficiency: Demonstrated knowledge of the SDLC, database management, system integration, and programming languages (e.g., Java, .NET).
  • Problem Solving: Ability to assess complex systems, identify inefficiencies, and propose technical resolutions.
  • Communication: Strong ability to document requirements and present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as ITIL, PMP, or CBAP.
  • Previous experience within government or highly regulated environments.
  • Familiarity or exposure to Digital Identity solutions.
